Processing Support
Most delays are not caused by a difficult borrower. They are caused by a condition nobody looked for until late. Our processing support is organised around finding those earlier.
Former underwriters on the processing team
Our processing team includes former mortgage underwriters. That background matters because someone who has issued conditions reads a file differently from someone who has only collected documents.
Identifying documentation issues early
The objective is to surface gaps in income, asset, credit and property documentation while there is still time to solve them, rather than discovering them after a file has been submitted.
- Review of how income is documented for the borrower type
- Asset sourcing and seasoning questions raised before submission
- Property and appraisal condition review
- Tracking of outstanding conditions through to clearance
File structure and communication
Processing support includes reviewing how a file is assembled and keeping communication moving between the loan officer, the borrower and the relevant parties so status is not a mystery.
What to discuss during discovery
Bring your actual workflow to the recruiting conversation. The useful questions are specific.
- How your current files are structured and submitted
- Where your files most often stall today
- What borrower types and documentation patterns you handle most
- What support you expect on a file and what you prefer to keep
- Your current turn-time experience and where it hurts
What processing support does not do
Processing support does not guarantee approval, closing speed or any particular outcome. Credit decisions, investor requirements and borrower circumstances determine results.
State, product and channel eligibility are confirmed for each transaction. Nothing on this page is an offer, an approval or a guarantee of any outcome.
